Our Story

Richard started his trade over 17 years ago when he was sent to work for his Great uncles building business “Don Matthews building limited” that has been going through three generations. One of Richards experiences was to work on the renovation of Kingslow Hall Shropshire, it was there where he developed a passion & creativity for working in rural and period living spaces. As his experiences grew, he went on to work for a small amount of reputable kitchen companies as a kitchen fitter with the desire he would have his own kitchen company one day.
That dream came true, with the help of his wife Gemma they set up R.Matthews Bespoke Interiors based in Staffordshire. Was founded in December 2017.
